9月27日，受韩跃新教授邀请，澳大利亚技术科学与工程院院士、澳大利亚新南威尔士大学沈岩松教授到访我院开展学术交流，并于采矿学馆201教室为矿物工程系师生作题为“Advancing Capable Numerical Models to Enable Hydrogen Metallurgy”的专题学术报告。报告会由韩跃新教授主持。

报告会上，沈岩松院士系统介绍了其科研团队的主要研究方向、代表性成果与最新进展，并以高炉模型迭代为例，阐释了从基础机理研究到全流程工艺放大的科研思路，为低碳高效炼铁技术研发提供了理论支撑与工具手段。在数值模拟领域，他剖析了气固反应流系统的多尺度建模策略，对比了不同数值方法的适用特点，强调了建立合理数值实验平台的重要性，并介绍了包含瞬态与稳态假设、反应流与传热、工业尺度、颗粒尺寸及维度等内容的五支柱（TRIPD）准则。结合多项工业应用案例，他进一步指出，数值建模不仅有助于厘清工艺背后的基础科学规律，还可通过实验室实验、模型模拟与工业试验的紧密结合，支撑清洁化、高效化新技术的优化迭代与开发，实现可量化的实际工业效益。

报告结束后，现场师生围绕多相流数值模拟技术、国际科研合作等热点问题同沈岩松院士展开深入互动研讨，现场学术氛围浓厚。本次学术交流，拓宽了我院师生的国际学术视野，深化了大家对数字化建模赋能的理解，同时也为我院进一步推进国际化人才培养、深化国际科研交流合作注入新动能。

沈岩松院士简介：

Yansong Shen is a full Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (Tenured). He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering (ATSE). He is the Director of an ARC Research Hub (2025-2030). He obtained his BEng and MEng degrees from Northeastern University (China) and his PhD degree from UNSW. He initiated and is leading the ‘UNSW SCoPE Lab for Green Metals’ (www.scope.unsw.edu.au ). He published over 260 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier multidisciplinary journals, secured 14 ARC and >40 highly competitive research grants from national and international funding agencies, in total over AUD A$130M, established industry engagements in Australia and overseas, and won several honours and highly-competitive national fellowships - ARC APDI Fellowship (2012-2015) and ARC Future Fellowship (2019-2025). His group designed and scaled up several new technologies, including low-carbon ironmaking and solar panel recycling. Many of them have been patented, implemented and practised in industries with measurable benefits. He was selected as the President of the Australasian Particle Technology Society, the Chair of the ATSE Mineral Resources Forum, a Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales, and an invited/plenary speaker at tens of international conferences.
