Li Lu received her master's degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2002 and is currently an associate professor at Northeastern University.
Her main research directions include water pollution prevention and control, as well as soil pollution prevention and remediation. She teaches the course Environmental Monitoring. As a project leader or key participant, she has been involved in a number of research projects. She has received the Second Prize of Shenyang Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of Panjin Science and Technology Progress Award. She has published over 20 academic papers and authored two books.
