Zhang Tong, male, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. He is a recipient of the National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents and a council member of the Geotechnical Engineering Information Branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. His research primarily focuses on high-performance materials and structures for underground engineering. He has received one First Prize of Liaoning Provincial Construction Science and Technology Progress Award and one First Prize of Shanghai Municipal Technological Invention Award. He has led or participated in more than 10 research projects, including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program), sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Program). He has published over 60 academic papers, among which more than 40 are indexed in SCI/EI and 3 are ESI Highly Cited Papers. He has been granted 6 national invention patents. He has supervised students to win more than 20 provincial- or higher-level academic competition awards.
