
Wenlin Chen, Lecturer, Department of Mining Engineering, Northeastern University. He joined the university in 1994 and is primarily engaged in research on the application of computers in the mining industry. He teaches three courses to undergraduate and graduate students. He has published more than ten academic papers indexed by SCI, EI, and ISTP, holds one authorized patent, and has co-authored one textbook. He has participated in numerous national, provincial, and ministerial-level research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and industry-sponsored projects. He has received four research awards from the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province, and Shenyang City. Products he has developed include the Underground Personnel Location Management System, Underground Wireless Communication System, Mining ERP, and Remote Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Mining Equipment.
