Hui Li, Associate Professor. She received her Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Northeastern University in 2019. Her research primarily focuses on mining monitoring data mining and mine disaster prevention and control based on machine learning and artificial intelligence methods. She has led five research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation. She has also participated in more than ten research projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects funded by the UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the European Commission, as well as enterprise–university cooperation projects. She has published over 30 research papers, applied for 17 Chinese invention patents (4 granted), and received one provincial/ministerial second-class research award. She also serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member for Green and Smart Mining Engineering, Intelligent Geoengineering, and Mechanical Science and Technology.
