Rongxing He, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor, Department of Mining Engineering, Northeastern University. He is mainly engaged in research on underground mining technology, the movement and mechanical characteristics of caving ore and rock bulk, and the caving laws of rock masses. He is responsible for teaching courses including Rock Drilling and Blasting, Course Design of Mining Methods, and Advanced Mining. He has presided over one General Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one third-level sub-project of the National Key R&D Program, two projects of the Liaoning Natural Science Foundation, and four projects funded by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. He has undertaken or participated in more than ten school–enterprise cooperation projects. He has won four first prizes, one second prize, and two third prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. He has published more than 50 papers including ten indexed by SCI and ten by EI, been granted more than ten national invention patents, and participated in the compilation of five industry standards.
