Luan Jinpeng is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeastern University. He has been recognized as a Shenyang High-Level Talent and is a recipient of the prestigious Li Siguang Outstanding Student Award.
His research focuses on the formation mechanisms of strategic mineral resources, advanced mineral detection technologies, and Paleoproterozoic geology. He has published 13 academic papers as first or corresponding author, including 10 SCI-indexed papers and 3 papers in leading Chinese journals.
Professor Luan has led numerous competitive research projects, including the Young Scientist Project and a sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the General Program of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and a geological exploration project funded by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Natural Resources.
His academic achievements have been recognized through a number of honors and awards, including the National Scholarship for Graduate Students, Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow of Northeastern University, Outstanding Graduate of Jilin University, and the Outstanding Paper Award at the Northeast Asia International Geoscience Conference.
