
Xiaolong Chen received his Ph.D. in Mineral Processing Engineering from Northeastern University. He currently serves as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Mineral Engineering, School of Resources and Civil Engineering, Northeastern University. His research focuses on non-metallic mineral processing and the development of functional mineral materials with mechanical reinforcement, flame retardancy, adsorption and deodorization performance. He has completed more than ten research projects, including the National 863 Program and other provincial and ministerial scientific and technological projects. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 30 academic papers. He has obtained a number of national invention patents and received multiple provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards.
