
Bing Zhao is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor with a Ph.D. degree. Her research addresses China’s major strategic needs in ecological civilization construction and secure mineral resource supply. In recent years, she has focused on theories and technologies for the efficient development and utilization of complex refractory mineral resources, as well as the resource recycling and high-value utilization of industrial solid wastes.
Professor Zhao has led eight research and technical service projects, including a Young Scientists Fund project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects under the National Key R&D Program of China and national major science and technology projects, and enterprise-sponsored technology development projects commissioned by Ansteel Group, Shandong Gold, and other companies.
She has published more than 20 academic papers and obtained two authorized national invention patents. She serves as a reviewer for internationally recognized journals, including Waste Management, Energy Conversion and Management, and Minerals Engineering. Professor Zhao teaches undergraduate courses including Surface and Colloid Chemistry and Resource Recycling and Utilization, as well as postgraduate courses including Recycling and Utilization of Solid Wastes and Thesis Writing Guidance.
