
Liu Wenbao, is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor with a Ph.D. degree. His research focuses on the development and design of novel flotation and hydrometallurgical reagents, intensification technologies for grinding–flotation systems of low-grade mineral resources, safe and efficient separation and process simulation of complex refractory minerals, and high-value utilization of mining and metallurgical solid wastes.
Professor Liu has led 10 research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and sub-projects under the National Key R&D Program of China. He has also undertaken or participated in more than 10 enterprise-sponsored research projects. He has published more than 80 academic papers, including over 30 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author. He has filed or obtained more than 20 Chinese invention patents and received eight science and technology awards, including the Second Prize of the Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
Professor Liu currently serves as an Editorial Board Member or Young Editorial Board Member for Sustainability and Green and Smart Mining Engineering, and as Guest Editor for Polymers and Separations.
