Baoyu Cui is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor with a Ph.D. degree in Mineral Processing Engineering. He is recognized as a Shenyang Leading Talent and serves as a member of the Mining and Metallurgical Process Calculation and Simulation Committee of The Nonferrous Metals Society of China.
He received his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Mineral Processing Engineering from Northeastern University in July 2005 and May 2014, respectively. From 2010 to 2011, he received joint doctoral training at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia.
His research focuses on the efficient separation of fine-grained minerals, numerical simulation and process intensification of mineral processing, and intelligent control of mineral processing systems. He currently teaches core undergraduate and graduate courses, including Principles of Solid Material Separation, Process Simulation in Mineral Processing, and Principles of Mineral Processing.
