Yimin Zhu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeastern University. She received her B.Sc. degree in Applied Chemistry from Tsinghua University, her M.Sc. degree in Surface Chemistry, and her Ph.D. degree in Mineral Processing Engineering from Northeastern University. She also worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Technical University of Denmark.
Her research focuses on flotation reagents for non-sulfide ores and flotation solution chemistry. She serves as Chief Scientist of a key project under the 14th Five-Year National Key R&D Program and has led more than 40 national research projects, including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National 973 Program.
Professor Zhu has published more than 120 academic papers, authored four monographs, and been granted over 40 invention patents. Her achievements have been recognized with one Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and two First Prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels.
