
Qing Wang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Teaching Master of Liaoning Province, and a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance. He serves as the lead instructor of the national excellent course and national first-class course Mining Science. He has long been engaged in research in the fields of mineral resource development and resource economics. He has completed a number of projects, including national key scientific and technological projects and projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has developed computer-aided optimization design, planning, and geological surveying systems for open-pit metal mines and coal mines with independent intellectual property rights, which have been promoted and applied at Waitoushan, Nanfen, Yuanbaoshan, Shenyang Coal Design Institute, and other sites. He is the chief editor of the national planning textbooks Mining Science for the 9th, 11th, and 12th Five-Year Plan periods, and the author of the monograph Overall Optimization of Open-Pit Mining: Theory, Model, and Algorithm. He has published over 100 papers in international and domestic journals.
