Lu Bo, Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Research Professor, Shenyang Top Talent, Outstanding Young Talent of Northeastern University. He has long been engaged in research on tunnel disaster warning and prevention, tunnel support and surrounding rock interactions. He has led 7 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Category C), the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program of CPSF (Grade B), the Doctoral Start-up Foundation of Liaoning Province, and so on. As first author or corresponding author, he has published 16 SCI papers (including 12 JCR Q1, and 1 Highly Cited Paper). He has been granted or filed over 10 national invention patents. He has guided students to win national first prizes in the China TRIZ Cup College Student Innovation Methods Competition and the China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, as well as a first prize in the Liaoning Provincial College Student Transportation Technology Competition. He is currently a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Environmental Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, a member of the Standardization Committee of the Liaoning Urban Renewal Research Association. He also serves as a youth editorial board member for journals including Deep Underground Science and Engineering, Deep Resources Engineering, Smart Underground Engineering, GeoEnergy Communications, Journal of Central South University (Natural Science Edition), and Journal of Basic Science and Engineering.
