Xiaolong Chen graduated from the mineral processing department at northeastern university with a doctoral degree. Currently, he is a full-time teacher in the mineral processing department within the school of resources and civil engineering at the northeastern university. His research focuses on processing non-metallic minerals and developing mechanically reinforced, flame-retardant and adsorption-based deodorizing functional mineral materials. He has completed over ten research projects, including those under China’s national “863” programmer and other science and technology programmers’, and published over 30 papers as the first or corresponding author. He has received multiple provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, and holds several invention patents.
