Wang Zhi, born in 1979, holds a Ph.D. and serves as an associate professor. He is a recipient of the Ministry of Education’s New Century Excellent Talents Program and a member of Liaoning Province’s “Hundreds, Thousands, and Tens of thousands” Talent Program. His research focuses on high-resolution remote sensing, artificial intelligence, LiDAR surveying, and digital mining. He has published over 60 papers in domestic and international journals and co-authored the books Modeling of Geoscientific Spatial Information and Digital Mine Construction and Digital Mine Technology. He has led research projects including a sub-project under the National Basic Research Program (973 Program), Youth and General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation, and the Special Funding Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has received four first-class provincial and ministerial-level awards, including the Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Progress Award.
