
Liming He, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Head of the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering. He also holds concurrent positions as Member of the Low-Altitude Development and Utilization Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography; Member of the Special Committee on Space Earth Observation of the Seismological Society of China; and Member of the Liaoning Society of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation. He conducted postdoctoral research at Hokkaido University, Japan, from 2015 to 2017.His research focuses on the theories and applications of navigation and positioning, as well as radar remote sensing. He has presided over 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and undertaken more than 30 research projects including sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, provincial and ministerial vertical projects, and entrusted projects from state-owned enterprises and public institutions. He has published over 80 academic papers, among which more than 30 are SCI-indexed and over 30 are EI-indexed as the first or corresponding author. He has been granted over 10 authorized invention patents and software copyrights, and co-authored four monographs and textbooks. He has received 5 provincial and ministerial-level research awards, including the First Prize of China Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Progress and the Second Prize of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress. He was also awarded the Outstanding Young Scholar Paper Award by the Committee on Space Research (COSPAR).
