Mao Yachun, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Executive Director of the Environmental Remote Sensing Branch, China Association of Remote Sensing Application; Executive Director of the Liaoning Society of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation; Member of the Engineering Survey Branch, Chinese Society of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation. His research mainly focuses on deformation monitoring and prediction, key theories and technologies for intelligent mining, and photogrammetry and remote sensing. He has led more than 40 projects, including General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, and technology R&D projects for large state-owned enterprises. He has published 2 monographs and over 70 academic papers, of which more than 50 are indexed by the three major citation databases (SCI/EI/ISTP). He is the holder of 6 authorized invention patents and has received one First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Society of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation and one Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from Liaoning Province.
