Bai Qian, Ph.D. in Engineering, Lecturer, and Master’s Supervisor, is a Shenyang City Top-tier Talent. He has long been engaged in research on the development and application of novel pipe curtain systems and the interaction between pipe curtains and geological formations. He has led or participated in projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, corporate R&D initiatives, and the Basic Research Operating Funds for Central Universities. He has published over 20 papers in journals such as TUST, ASCE, and Chinese Excellence Journals, and holds more than 10 authorized or under substantive examination national invention patents. He serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for journals including *Deep Resources Engineering* and the *Journal of Jilin University of Architecture*, a member of the Youth Committee of the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering, and Secretary-General of a series of forums including the China-Russia Geotechnical and Underground Engineering Youth Forum and the Academic Forum on New Technologies in Metro Construction.
