Liu Keqi, Doctor of Engineering, Associate Research Fellow and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeastern University. He serves as Director of the Underground Engineering Branch of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and Youth Editorial Board Member of journals including Geohazard Mechanics and Rock Mechanics Bulletin. His research and teaching focus on catastrophe theory and control technology of underground engineering. He delivers undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Development and Utilization of Urban Underground Space, Elastoplastic Mechanics and Finite Element Method, and Numerical Methods in Modern Civil Engineering and Their Applications. He has presided over a number of vertical and horizontal research projects, including the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program of China, and the General Program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 30 academic papers, obtained over 10 authorized patents and software copyrights, and won 1 provincial and ministerial-level award. He has also participated in compiling 1 national standard and 1 industrial standard.
