Xiaojiang Liu is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor, and a core member of the Institute of Vibration Dynamics and Smart Disaster Mitigation at Northeastern University. She was previously a visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore. She has long been engaged in research on smart disaster prevention and multi-hazard evolution, and currently focuses on fire source identification and state evolution of utility tunnels. She has presided over sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program of China and projects supported by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and has participated in projects including the National Key Research and Development Program of China and Key Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published more than ten papers in authoritative journals in related fields, including TUST、ASCE journals. She serves as a Guest Editor for the special issue “Structural Health Monitoring and Smart Disaster Prevention” of Sensors, Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the 17th National Conference on Structural Vibration and Dynamics, and a member of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering.
