Yang Baicun, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. His research interests include rock mechanics, instability-induced disaster mechanism of rock mass, and freeze-thaw instability mechanism of slopes in cold regions. He serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Cold Region Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Council Member of the Engineering Geomechanics Branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and Council Member of the Landslide and Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He has presided over 5 national and provincial/ministerial-level projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, won 1 provincial/ministerial-level Science and Technology Progress Award, and published more than 50 academic papers cumulatively.
