Bailing Chen, Female, born in August 1972, PhD, Associate professor, Doctoral supervisor. Her research and teaching mainly focus on steel concrete composite structures, prefabricated building structures, and strengthening technologies with FRP. She has presided over and participated in more than 20 scientific research projects, won numerous awards at various government levels, published over 50 papers in domestic and international journals, authored 5 monographs and textbooks, and obtained more than 10 authorized national invention patents and utility model patents. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Florida, USA, in 2008 for one year, and another visiting scholar at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA, in 2015 for one year. For undergraduate students, she teaches courses including Structural Mechanics, Design Principles of Composite Structures, and Subgrade and Pavement Engineering. For graduate students, she delivers lectures on Advanced Structural Theory, Steel Concrete Composite Structures, Innovative Structures and Systems, and Underground Structural Engineering.
