Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeastern University, Director of a National First Class Undergraduate Course, Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Master of Liaoning Province, and High Level Leading Talent of Shenyang City. She has presided over numerous research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub projects of the National Key R&D Program, Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and its Special Grant Program, Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province, and enterprise sponsored research projects. She has published more than 70 academic papers, authored one monograph, and obtained over 10 authorized invention patents. She was ranked among the Top 1% Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in 2025. Her main research interests include rock mechanics and engineering, stability of urban underground engineering, and freeze-thaw damage of fractured rock masses in cold regions. Prospective master's and doctoral students with backgrounds in Civil Engineering, Urban Underground Space Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, and Mining Engineering are welcome to join my research group.
