My research focuses on granitic magmatic-hydrothermal systems and associated ore deposits, using mineral texture analysis to decode magmatic and hydrothermal evolution, reveal migration and enrichment mechanisms of critical metals, and support ore prospecting and beneficiation. I am currently an Associate Professor at Northeastern University. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), my Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China, and then conducted postdoctoral research at the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2019 to 2025, I have served as Principal Investigator on multiple funded projects, including an NSFC grant on magma mixing timescales (2023–2025) and a China Postdoc Science Foundation project on plagioclase populations in zoned granitic plutons (2021–2024). I also contributed as a key employee to a Guangdong Major Project on rare earth resources and environmental risks (2019–2024) and an NSFC project on the Qinling orogen (2019–2022). My first-authored publications appear in Journal of Petrology (2026), Mineralium Deposita (2024), Contributions to Mineralogy and Petrology (2023), Journal of Asian Earth Sciences (2021, 2018), Lithos (2019), and Acta Petrologica Sinica (2015).
