Liu Bo holds a Ph.D. in Structural Geology from Peking University. He is a Level II Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeastern University. He served as a Visiting Scholar at Stockholm University in Sweden. He is a member of The Geological Society, the European Geosciences Union, the Geological Society of China, and the Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry. Additionally, he serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Youth Working Committee of the Geological Society of Liaoning Province and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shenyang Chapter of the Peking University Alumni Association. He has led a total of 15 research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund) and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. To date, he has published over 50 academic papers, including 17 SCI-indexed articles published as the first or corresponding author. He is the founder of the "Rocking Tectonics" research group.
