Hou Zhenlong, Male, born in 1988 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Department of Geology. He received his Bachelor's degree in Geophysics from Jilin University in 2011, and obtained his Ph.D. in Computer System Architecture from Jilin University in 2016, under the supervision of the renowned geophysicist Prof. Huang Danian and computer scientist Prof. Wei Xiaohui. He currently serves as an Editorial Board Member of the international SCI-indexed journal Applied Geophysics, a reviewer for multiple SCI-indexed journals, a member of the Submarine Science Branch of the Chinese Society of Oceanography, and a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Liaoning Geological Society. His research primarily focuses on: (1) 3D inversion of large-scale gravity and magnetic data with parallel computing, (2) geoscience big data mining and artificial intelligence, and (3) geoscience software development.
