He Weidong, Doctor of Engineering, Master's Supervisor. He received his PhD in Safety Science and Engineering from Northeastern University in April 2022. From 2016 to 2022, he pursued his doctoral study at Northeastern University, with joint PhD training at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) from Nov. 2018 to Nov. 2020. He worked as a Research Assistant in Prof. Jing Wang's group, Department of Environmental Engineering, ETH Zurich, from Nov. 2020 to Apr. 2021. He has presided over 8 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program), Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral Special Support Program, etc. He also participated in two Ministry of Science and Technology Key R&D Program projects. He has published over 40 academic papers in journals such as ACS Nano, Chemical Engineering Journal and Separation and Purification Technology, and holds 5 authorized invention patents.
Research Interests:Particulate matter filtration technology, advanced filter materials, intelligent filtration devices, and occupational health engineering.
