Xiaolong Zhang is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serving as Deputy Director of the Department of Mineral Engineering, Northeastern University. He has been selected as Shenyang Leading Talent, and acts as a review expert for national and provincial scientific research projects as well as an editorial member for a number of academic journals. His research interests mainly lie in selective grinding regulation and the green development and efficient utilization of refractory mineral resources. He has presided over 15 scientific research projects at national, provincial and enterprise levels, authored more than 60 academic papers, and holds over 20 invention patents. He has received a series of provincial and ministerial-level awards in both scientific and technological research and teaching achievements. He delivers undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to mineral processing, and recruits doctoral and master students every year.
