Yu Jianwen (born in 1988), male, a native of Yugan, Jiangxi Province. He is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He has been selected as a Class C High-Level Leading Talent of Shenyang City. He also holds concurrent positions as Director of Shenyang Technology Innovation Center for Efficient Utilization of Deep-Sea Mineral Resources, Part-Time Chief Technology Officer of China National Gold Group Zhongyuan Mining Co., Ltd., Director of Liaoning Society of Engineering Thermochemistry, and Editorial Board Member of the journal Gold.
His research and teaching focus on the separation and process intensification of strategic mineral resources, as well as the theory and technology of selective comminution. He teaches undergraduate courses including Mineral Processing Wisdom in Ancient Classics and Surface and Colloid Chemistry, and postgraduate courses such as Thesis Writing Guidance (Mineral Processing Engineering) and Advanced Mineral Processing Engineering.
He has undertaken over 20 research projects, including the Cultivation Project of the Major Research Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, special topics of National Major Science and Technology Projects, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, and enterprise-commissioned projects from Anshan Iron and Steel, Benxi Iron and Steel, etc. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 50 academic papers in key domestic and international journals such as International Journal of Mineral Processing and Minerals Engineering. He holds over 10 authorized national invention patents and has completed 1 transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
He is the chief editor of Boromagnesite Ore Dressing Technology funded by the National Publication Fund, and a co-editor of the 14th Five-Year Plan higher education textbook Grinding Principles (2nd Edition) and the discipline development report Roadmap of Mineral Processing Engineering Discipline. He has received numerous academic awards, including the Second Prize of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (1st rank), the First Prize of Metallurgical Mine Science and Technology Award (3rd rank), the First Prize of Green Mine Science and Technology Award (4th rank), and the First Prize of Liaoning Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award (6th rank). He was selected into the first Outstanding Postgraduate Supervisor Team of Liaoning Province in 2022.
