Lu Jiwei, born in 1983 in Wuyi, Hebei Province, is a doctor, associate professor and doctoral tutor.

Since he stayed at Northeastern University in September 2016, he has been mainly engaged in research work on sulfide ore beneficiation and magnetic separation theory and technology, as well as teaching for undergraduate and graduate students, and has been responsible for the teaching work of the courses of "Scientific and Technological Style Writing", "Magnetic Separation and High-tension Separation" and "Non-metallic Minerals Processing Technology", and published the undergraduate textbook " Magnetic Separation and High-tension Separation". He has been responsible for more than ten projects, including the project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, the general project of China Postdoctoral Fund, and the open fund of Shaanxi Key Laboratory of Comprehensive Utilization of Tailings Resources, and he is responsible for many enterprise cooperation projects. As a main researcher, he has participated in more than 20 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and enterprise projects. Published more than 20 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, of which more than 10 were included in SCI/EI, applied for 5 national invention patents, of which 3 were authorized, and won scientific and technological progress awards from China Metallurgical and Mining Association, and teaching achievements in Liaoning Province.
