Jianping Jin, a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Resources and Civil Engineering, Northeastern University, hailing from Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, boasts a solid academic foundation and research expertise spanning nearly two decades. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mineral Processing Engineering from Northeastern University in 2007 and 2009, respectively, followed by a Ph.D. in Mineral Resource Utilization and Environmental Control from the same university in 2019.

Recognized for his contributions to the efficient development and utilization of refractory gold ores, vanadium-bearing stone coal, and refractory iron ores, Prof. Liu’s research interests encompass flotation processes and industrial applications of metal sulfide ores. His work bridges laboratory innovation and industrial practice, with a particular focus on addressing challenges in complex mineral resource processing.

He serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Screening Technology Committee of the China Metallurgical Mining Enterprise Association, a member of the Vanadium Resources Clean Utilization Professional Committee of the Nonferrous Metals Society of China, and a core member of the Green Development and Utilization of Iron Ore Resources group at the 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center for Steel Technology.
