Gao Peng, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, recipient of the National Young Talents Program, and Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program Project.
He currently serves as Vice Dean of the School of Resources and Civil Engineering, and Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of Mineral Processing Science and Technology, Northeastern University.
His research focuses on the efficient development and utilization of national strategic metal mineral resources. He has presided over more than 30 scientific research projects, including the key special project of the National Key R&D Program entitled Development and Utilization of Strategic Mineral Resources. He has achieved a series of research achievements in the fields of clean utilization of refractory polymetallic iron ore and resource recycling of iron-containing solid waste.
He has published over 100 academic papers, authored 3 monographs, and been granted more than 40 international and national invention patents. He has won 1 Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and 5 First Prizes of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Awards.
