
Liu Shanjun, Ph.D. in Engineering, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He served as a member of the Teaching Steering Committee for Surveying and Mapping Programs of the Ministry of Education (2013–2024). He is also a member of the Mine Surveying Committee of the China Coal Society, Executive Vice Chairman of the Ecological and Environmental Remote Sensing Branch of the China Association of Remote Sensing Application, a member of the Earth Observation Committee of the Seismological Society of China, and a member of the Geological Hazards Research Division of the Geological Society of China.His research interests mainly include Remote SensingRock Mechanics, Disaster Remote Sensing, Mine Environmental Remote Sensing, and Intelligent Mine Construction. He has led and completed eight major research projects, including projects under China’s National Basic Research Program (973 Program), National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Program), National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and National Key Research and Development Program.Professor Liu has published two academic monographs and more than 200 scholarly papers, including over 50 SCI-indexed articles. His research achievements have received several awards, including one First Prize of the Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education, two First Prizes of the Science and Technology Progress Award from the ChineseSociety for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, and one SecondPrize of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award.
