
Che Defu, Ph.D. in Engineering, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He serves asa current member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Geomatics Majors of the Ministry of Education (2026–2030 term),Vice Chairman of the Mine Surveying Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, and Vice President of the Liaoning Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography. He has been honored as a Leading Academic Talent of Liaoning Province and an Outstanding Scientific and Technical Worker of Liaoning Province. His research interests include 3D geoscience modeling technology, digital mine theory and key technologies, 3S integration technology and software development, smart cities, smart transportation, artificial intelligence, and rapid information acquisition technologies. He has led and completed over 50 projects, including programs under the National High-Tech R&D Program (863 Program), projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and industry-sponsored research. He has authored over 80 academic papers, of which more than 60 are indexed by SCI, EI, and ISTP, and has published six monographs. He has received six provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress.
