Professor SHEN Yanbai
SHEN Yanbai received his Ph.D degree from University of Toyama, Japan in 2009 and then worked as a researcher at Nagoya University, Japan until 2012. He is Distinguished Professor of National Major Talent Program, Outstanding Young Scholars of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Liaoning Revitalization Talents.
His research work aims to investigate the efficient monitoring and hazard prevention of mine pollutants for preventing environmental pollution in mining and mineral processing. By taking the mining safety in production and life as the principle line, his work focuses on unveiling the response mechanism of key sensing materials used for the detection of harmful gases, developing the particulate matter sensing technology based on green fuel cell, and clarifying the purification mechanism of environmental mineral materials in mining wastewater treatment. The corresponding outcomes enable comprehensive sensor monitoring and pollution prevention against gas-solid-liquid hazards such as harmful gases, particulate matter, and water pollution in mining and mineral processing. His work provides novel materials and technical support toward safe, efficient, and green development of mineral resources.
Up to now, he published over 300 papers in leading academic journals, over 260 of which are cited by SCI (over 120 of them are published as first author or corresponding author). Nine highly cited ESI papers are included, and the total value of IF of these SCI papers is over 1400. The citation is more than 8000 times, and H index in Web of Science is 53. He received a Second Prize of Natural Science Award in Science Research Famous Achievement Award in Higher Institution (Rank 1), Second Prize of Liaoning Natural Science Award (Rank 4), etc.
